Antique Qianlong 18th Century Chinese Goldfish Waves Cookie Jar 11"

Extraordinary antique Chinese Koi/Goldfish Lidded Ginger Jar. This stunning piece features beautiful red koi or goldfish with waves flowing behind them. The enamel seems to be the style of famille verte with more transparent colors as opposed to the solid colors of the famille rose style. This piece appears to date back to the 1700's in the Qianlong period. Identical goldfish were found from the same period. Nearly identical wording marks were found from the same period. Similar aged pieces are priced at upwards of $4000 or higher.

This beauty is approximately 11" from base to the tip of the lid and approx 7 1/2" wide.
