Antique Pair Capodimonte Italy Raised Embossed Filigree Figural Urns Gold Trim.
This listing is for a pair of stunning antique Capodimonte porcelain urns with high relief designs of maidens picking fruit with filigree flowers and swirls over the surface of the urns. The flowers and swirls are layered with gold (24k?). The lids feature a single maiden for the handle and gold layered leaf designs. One of the lids had previously broken and was glued back together. The repair was fairly well done and all of the pieces are tightly rejoined. Extra care will be taken to package the repaired lid as to not come apart in shipping. The bottoms of the urns are stamped with the crown N mark and R Capodimonte Italy. One has an additional mark- Keramos. The urns measure approximately 16 1/2" not including the lids. The lids are an estimated 2" - 2 1/2".
