Antique Sterling Silver Uncas Cobalt Blue Enamel & Marcasite Fish Marlin Brooch.
Beautiful antique Uncas sterling silver marlin/fish brooch featuring cobalt blue enamel on the fins and marcasite stones in the body. He also has a red cabochon eye. All stones appear to be present. The back of the dorsel fin is stamped Sterling >U< Made in USA. Brooch measures 58.3mm long.
This piece is circa pre-1920's as this Uncas mark was used prior to the 1920's "U" with 1 single arrow through it as opposed to 2 inward facing arrows.
